US-based Hiball, which has temperature-activated ink being newly encased in cans, has entered into new sales and marketing partnership with incubator L.A. Libations.

The unsweetened, essence-flavored 'energy water' will be packaged in 11.5oz glass bottles, according to bevnet.com.

Hiball co-founder Todd Berardi said it took a lot longer than they thought but people came to the idea that they have a healthy energy drink, the one without calories, sugar or sweeteners of any kind.

"It's all-natural, it's naturally zero calorie, and when you taste the product, we're clearly different. We loved glass, but it wasn't easily merchandised next to cans or easy for people to understand what the product was at first glance," Berardi said.
